This applies to Indian universities and communique exchanged with officialdom.  Scientists and Researchers, Professors can be better greeted with their first names.  How nice, if we call them by first names?  Leaving the heck of egoes behind, let's try calling them with first names.  Even salutations like Dr., Prof., Mr. etc. can be given a good bye.
